This is the agreement you accept
Last updated September 10, 2026. Installing or using Chroma Visuals means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the software or use the website. If you buy a key, you accept them at checkout.
What you get
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Chroma Visuals on the computers your licence covers, for as long as that licence is valid. A lifetime key covers one Windows PC at a time. Your licence is bound to a machine fingerprint. If you change major hardware, reinstall Windows, or use a different Windows user account, the fingerprint may change and you will need to request a HWID reset from your account dashboard. We will not unreasonably refuse that, but we reserve the right to deny requests that look like abuse, sharing, or resale.
What you may not do
• Resell, rent, sublicense, share or redistribute the software or your licence key. • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded. • Remove or alter any copyright, licence or attribution notice. • Circumvent the licensing mechanism, or use a key you did not obtain from us. • Create multiple accounts or use VPNs to abuse the free trial. Doing any of these may result in permanent licence revocation with no refund.
Games, and the rules of the games you play
This clause matters more than the rest of them, so it is in plain language. Chroma Visuals changes what your monitor shows. It adjusts colour, saturation, vibrance, gamma, hue and temperature at the display level. It can draw a crosshair overlay and other visual helpers on top of whatever is on screen. It does not read or modify any game, its memory, or its files. Individual games make their own rules, and those rules are set by the game's publisher, not by us. You are responsible for knowing and following the rules of the games you play. If you are unsure whether a feature is permitted, do not use it in that game.
What it costs
Chroma Visuals is free to download. We offer a limited free 3-day trial so you can test the software before you buy. The trial requires no card. After the trial, the application requires a valid licence. We offer fixed-duration keys for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week and 1 month, an Optimizer Lifetime key, and an optional monthly subscription. Fixed-duration keys expire at the end of their stated period. The lifetime key is a one-time purchase that does not expire. A subscription remains active through the paid billing period and can be cancelled. Prices can change, but never shorten a licence you have already bought. Existing keys retain their original duration and status unless manually deactivated for a terms violation.
Who may buy
You need to be 18 or older to buy a lifetime key, or have the card holder's permission. If a young person has used your card without you knowing, contact us: we will cancel the licence and work with you on a refund in that specific case. Payment is taken by Stripe, who act as merchant of record: they charge your card, they appear on your bank statement, and they account for any VAT. We never receive or store your card details.
No refunds
Because Chroma Visuals is digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, compatibility issues, hardware changes, third-party account actions, or because you decided you no longer want the product. The free trial exists exactly so you can verify the software works on your system before paying. We strongly recommend using the trial first.
Your right to withdraw (EU and UK consumers)
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content and receive a refund. By activating a licence key — or by starting the free trial — you are asking us to supply the software immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose that 14-day right once supply has begun. If you have not yet activated the key or started the trial, the 14-day right still applies in full: contact us and we will refund you. This section does not affect your statutory rights where the software is faulty.
Chargebacks and disputes
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may result in the licence being permanently revoked. If something is wrong, reach out first — we read every support ticket.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including logos, branding, code, and software, is owned by Chroma Visuals or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without permission.
Disclaimer of warranty
The software is provided as-is. We do not guarantee compatibility with every system, game update, graphics driver or monitor. We are not responsible for any action a third-party platform takes against your account for using system-level visual adjustments or overlays.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chroma Visuals is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the licence.
Termination and changes
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. If you have questions, contact us through the support page.
